Car sourcing UK exists for two reasons: Ed, our founder’s fascination of all thing motoring, and a realisation that the way people buy cars is generally all about the seller, not the buyer. 

 

Some of Ed’s earliest memories are car related, he remembers nagging his parents endlessly for a ‘General Lee’ car (those of you who are old enough will remember the Dukes of Hazzard TV show), and being delighted when he finally got one (and still has it!)

 

Ed had always been ‘the car guy’ within his group of friends, and so had helped various people find a new car, or work out why their existing car was broken – so setting up Car Sourcing UK was the next logical step. 

 

With a background in service-based industries he realised that when you buy a car, quite often you’re persuaded into buying the car that’s in stock at the dealership, rather than the car that’s best for you.
